In this course, the presenters will cover how to use and personalize high-tech AAC devices for patients based on a life participation approach. Consideration will be given to collaborative goal setting, communication partner involvement, and best practices for device programming to increase motivation and device use. The use of a high-tech AAC device will be demonstrated. In addition, the presenters will share information about therapy apps and platforms that can be used to work with patients with a variety of impairments. 



Caitlin Mueller, MS, CCC-SLP 


Caitlin Mueller, Clinical Marketing Manager,  joined Lingraphica in 2015. She holds a B.A. in psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, a B.S. in Communication Studies from Utah State University and an M.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of the Pacific. She has experience with evaluating and treating clients with a variety of communication impairments using multiple AAC devices and apps.   



Amanda Gunn, M. Ed, CCC-SLP  


Amanda  joined Lingraphica in 2016 and is now in the role Clinical Manager of Outreach. With more than 5 years of experience in speech-language pathology, Amanda has worked as an SLP in skilled nursing facilities, pediatric private practice and the public-school system. She holds a BS Ed. and M. Ed in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of West Georgia.
