Personal Data Protection Law states that the rights of real people which encompasses personal information about individuals and their privacies are protected by the constitution. Therefore, any third party who has access to such information is legally responsible to protect that information and respect people’s basic human right of privacy. Any misuse of personal information can and will be punished by law.

WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT ONLINE? HOW DO WE USE IT?

In areas of our site, we ask you to provide information by filling out and submitting online forms. We only ask for the information needed to provide you with the services you request. For example, if you are booking a place in a seminar we have to ask for your address so that we can send you your certificate and any course materials needed. To make improvements to our site, we may gather the information that helps show how customers use the site. For example, we might do research to determine which areas are accessed most frequently. This information is analyzed only in aggregate and not at the individual level. Personal information, such as name and email address, is NOT included in the analysis.

HOW WE USE PHONE NUMBERS AND EMAIL ADDRESSES

It is important that you provide us with a valid email address and phone number so that we may communicate with you. Your email will be used to communicate relevant account and ordering information. For example, after you place an order on our site, we use your email address to send an order confirmation, if applicable. You will also receive your seminar registration confirmation via email and your notices that semınars are available. You will receive these emails only if you have provided your email address during checkout or as part of registering with the site. We will only call you in the event of an important message regarding your product shipment or with an urgent message about a change to a live seminar schedule. We do NOT sell or share phone numbers with other companies. We use email only as a means of giving you the information you need and receiving feedback from our customers. PROMOTIONAL CORRESPONDENCE AND OPT-OUT POLICY

We may send you email and mail correspondence with special offers, sales, and information on new products, services, and courses. You may opt-out anytime if you wish to no longer receive these promotional emails, flyers, or postcards. To opt-out please send your written request emailed to info@dilgem.com.tr. You may also opt-out via the unsubscribe links found on all promotional emails.

DiLGEM websites do contain links to other websites, such as websites, blogs or social media pages of our product and course authors. We also use YouTube and Vimeo to deliver video content at DiLGEM websites. Once you have navigated outside of our websites to these third-party websites, your browsing experience, including the submission of personal information, will be subject to the individual privacy and data policies of those websites.

We are the sole owner of the information collected at DiLGEM. We use your personal information only to serve you and your needs, and we do everything we can to keep the information secure.

  • Debriefing and Clarification: To give informed consent, the party that is giving the consent must understand for what purpose their personal data will be used, how it will be protected, who might access their personal data, and under what circumstances as well as their rights.
  • Classification of Personal Data: Personal Data is classified as personal and sensitive personal information. Personal information consists of a person’s name, surname, birth date and location, identity, phone number, address, etc. Sensitive Personal Information is information such as a person’s sexuality, religion, race, etc. Personal information that falls under the “sensitive” classification is forbidden by law to be used or analyzed.

USAGE OF PERSONAL DATA

It is DiLGEM’s responsibility to ensure everything from data collection to data usage is done within the limitations of law and that proper data protection protocols are observed. As such, we inform you very clearly about the ways your data might be used, what you agree to when you use our websites and services, any changes or events that might affect you as well as what your rights and our responsibilities are. If the government requests access to your information with a court order DiLGEM is bound by law to share your personal information with the asking government body.

Your rights include the right to learn for what purpose your information has been used, how it was used, any third parties that had access to it, check whether we have kept up your personal data secure or not, and correct any mistakes that were done during the collection of data. In an event in which you were harmed due to your recorded personal information you also have the right to ask for a reimbursement.

We do not knowingly collect personal information about nor knowingly send marketing correspondence to children under 18 years of age.

DATA SECURITY AND FINANCIAL TRANSACTIONS 

The security of your personal data is very important to us. We employ reasonable technical and administrative safeguards to protect the confidentiality and security of your personal data. During credit card transactions, we protect transmission through the use of encryption such as the Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocol. We employ industry-standard SSL (TLS 1.2 or newer) throughout the website. After the purchase transaction is completed, we retain the minimum information needed to provide customer support and for issuing credits and refunds. This retained information includes the last 4 digits of the credit card and the transaction ID from the payment processor.  We do NOT save or store complete credit card numbers at DiLGEM. Returning customers will be asked to enter their credit card information again at the time of purchase. On unlikely occasions such as we suffer a data breach, we will notify customers within 72 hours of the data breach.

  • At the time of enrollment, we collect the minimum data needed to provide the services ordered and provide customer correspondence.
  • We will update, correct, or delete customer information on written request emailed to info@dilgem.com.tr ​
  • On successful training completion, a certificate with your personal information will be added to our registry. If you wish to be removed from this registry, please email a request to   info@dilgem.com.tr ​
  • We will notify customers within 72 hours in the event of a data breach.​
  • We may contact you with special promotions and sale offers. You may opt-out of unsolicited correspondence at any time by sending a written request emailed to info@dilgem.com.tr. You may also opt-out via the unsubscribe links found on all promotional emails.​
  • We do NOT sell, trade, or share your personal, identifiable data with any third parties for proprietary or data mining purposes.​
  • Analysis of website data in relation to personal, identifiable data may be used for customer support correspondence and internal quality control purposes. Website data is not released to any third parties for proprietary or data mining purposes.

ALTERATIONS AND UPDATES 

All privacy rights of our clients are protected by law on the Protection of Personal Data. As such, our clients wıll be informed about any changes we make in our economic, commercial, or legal policies or any situation we have to alter or do not have to alter our policies to fit new regulations via email, phone call, SMS, voice mail or mail, depending on the contact information we were provided with.
