Children with speech and language disorders may have accompanying sensory deficits and be diagnosed with Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD). The workshop begins with a description of the nature of SPD and its relationship to speech-language disorders. The primary focus of the workshop is to provide hands-on, practical therapy strategies and materials for early intervention with young children who have co-occurring SPD and speech-language disorders.
