The Palin PCI Book is now in Turkish

We are more than proud to announce our agreement with Taylor Francis concerning the translation of Palin PCI in 2021. This book is a detailed guide to the Palin Parent-Child Interaction Therapy programme (Palin PCI). Palin PCI builds on the principle that parents play a critical role in effective therapy, and that understanding and managing stammering is a journey based on the collaboration between the child, the parent and the therapist. This book emphasises a need for open communication about stammering, interaction strategies and confidence building, along with direct techniques to teach children what they can do to help themselves. We are happy to announce that an academic board headed by Prof. Ahmed Konrot, which consists of 15 academicians from long-established Turkish universities, will be carrying out this great book’s localization and that it will soon be ready to be published by Dilgem Publishing. We are excited to provide resources that would hopefully be beneficial to Turkish professionals and families. With this purpose in mind, Dilgem is running several other projects with various universities in order to adapt assessment tools owned by Brookes Publishing, WPS, and ProEd to Turkish.
